Accident Fund Holdings’ Walsh Offers Tips on Establishing Legal and Medical Causation at 2015 National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference

Patrick Walsh, senior vice president and chief claims officer at Accident Fund Holdings, Inc. will join an expert panel at the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference on Nov. 13 in Las Vegas, Nev. to deliver 60 tips in 60 minutes on “Cracking the Causation Conundrum.”

“Establishing legal and medical causation can be difficult,” said Walsh. “It is important to understand the claimant’s real job duties, to not rely on inaccurate job descriptions, to deal in fact and not emotion, to develop accurate information from reliable sources and to use objective resources to support the investigation.” Walsh will offer additional tips during the session.

In his current role at Accident Fund, Walsh is chief claims officer and has additional responsibilities for continuing non-traditional and innovative business solutions and generating new and creative opportunities in response to agent and customer needs.
